Superchic[k]’s Beauty From Pain CD definitely raises the bar musically. The music is smooth and flows perfectly along with the lyrics. I like how the lyrics are dealing with problems that many teenage girls face each day. “Courage” talks about the struggle with anorexia, and “Wishes” and “Bowling Ball” talk about boyfriend troubles. I like the happy ending of a seemingly on-going struggle in “Suddenly” where it says, ‘She feels lost in her own life,’ and turns around into a hopeful ‘skies will clear and the light will find her where she’s always been.....’
