Everybody has a secret... Duke wants Olivia who likes Sebastian who is really Viola whose brother is dating Monique so she hates Olivia who's with Duke to make Sebastian jealous who is really Viola who's crushing on Duke who thinks she's a guy...
It all starts when Viola’s soccer team gets cut and she is not allowed to join the boy’s. Her boyfriend at the time, Justin, being the team captain of the soccer team agrees with the coach and lies infront of her. Needless to say, Viola breaks up with Justin. After arriving home, Viola sees her brother leaving for London, and ditching school, he tells her to make up some excuse why he can’t attend Allyria, his new school. Viola decides instead to dress up as her brother and attend the school for him, in the hope that she can join the soccer team there and beat Cornwall, the team she was cut from, and her ex is on. It’s the perfect plan, as no one will know she’s not her brother, until Viola meets her room mate, the ever so handsome, Duke. Of course, Viola falls for him though he thinks she’s a guy. The only problem is that Duke really has a thing for Olivia, and Olivia begins to like Sebastian (Viola’s brother who is actually Viola in disguise). Eventually, Monique, Sebastian’s girlfriend shows up and Viola gets caught up in a huge mess. To add to all the drama, Malcolm, one of the guys on campus, has guessed Sebastian isn’t really who he says he is and tries to prove it and Sebastian comes home early and Justin gets involved, so they end up getting caught in the mess, too.
She’s the Man is based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with, of course, some twists. The movie is laugh out loud funny, but just a warning, it’s most likely a girls only film. It may sound confusing now, but once you have seen the movie, everything will make sense.
