Tony Stark. Industrialist. After traveling across the ocean to unveil his new missile, the convoy is hit with one, and Tony is knocked out. He wakes up to find himself in a cave and attached to a car battery. The battery is hooked up to an electromagnet, which is keeping him alive.
Stark has been captured by a terrorist group who want him to build a weapon for them. He agrees, but ends up building an armour suit to escape the cave. When he returns safe and sound to America, he announces that his company will no longer be in business, as he has seen the impact that weapons have upon the world.
Staying out of the spotlight, Tony sets out to update his suit, until he finds out that his business partner has been making deals with terrorist organizations. Not only this, but Tony’s assistant, Pepper, has discovered some other things about his so-called partner.
Now, Tony is determined to go out and set all these things right.
This movie is filled with lots of action, and I found myself quite engrossed in this movie, while not expecting to be, especially since it’s another comic book made into movie. It’s a good movie for both males and females, as there is much action, a story line that moves along at a great pace, and a hint of romance.
Also, a piece of advice: There is a short scene after the credits, so be sure to wait it out!
