27 DressesJane’s passion in life is to help her friends with their weddings. Discovering this hidden talent of hers at a wedding she attended as a small child, she has been continuing to help with many friend’s weddings. While bouncing back and forth between two weddings on the same night, a local newspaper guy, Kevin, notices Jane leaving and showing up throughout the night. He decides to investigate and is shocked and intrigued upon discovering how busy Jane is with weddings.

Kevin convinces his manager to let him write an article on Jane and sets to work on gathering information on her.

Meanwhile, Jane’s sister, Tess, has arrived home and decided to join Jane by coming to one the engagement party of one of Jane’s coworkers. Before Tess shows up, Casey, another coworker of Jane, has convinced Jane to tell her boss, George, the truth: she has romantic feelings towards him. Just as Jane is about to tell him, Tess and George meet up and spend the rest of the evening together. Eventually, George asks Tess to marry him and she agrees. However, George has asked Tess to marry him under false pretenses, as Tess has simply pretended to enjoy the same things as George. Jane goes along with it, as she cannot confess she has feelings towards her boss, and now her sister’s fiancé and so, she agrees to help with the wedding.

This works out well for Kevin, as he pretends to cover Tess’ wedding details to get more information about Jane.

As things unfold before her, Jane ends up questioning not only her actions, but those of the people around her. With twists to the plot and humorous bits, this movie should be an enjoyable one, that is a classic chick flick.
